Very good except for the restuarant

The hotel itself does need a revamp from the external as it’s very dated and grubby, but inside it is nice, the room we had was a modern room. The bed was huge and very comfy. The room was also very well ventilated without air con on. An issue in most rooms they become stuffy or too cold. This was not the case here, very nice room. Which was a huge positive. TV is shocking though. No internet connection, half the channels don’t work due to signal issues. My only real issue with the hotel was the restaurant area. Breakfast was very poor. Half the stuff was gone ( by 9am) . Eggs were soggy, bacon had a weird taste, hash browns were freezing. The restaurant area itself was cold with a function room feel more than hotel/restaurant feel. Overall it still was a good stay and I would go back, just had to constantly go out for food everywhere.

Ghastly breakfast. Had bad vibes initially given how temporary the breakfast “restaurant” looked, set up in a big conference or function room. Selection poor, everything average, and the hot buffet was horrendous. Dry, stale, lukewarm. I eat breakfast everywhere I go normally, but couldn’t bring myself to return on the second morning. Definitely save your money here. Standard double room extremely small. No desk or table if you need to work. Bathroom very small. Shower good.

First off, shout out to Kekia the receptionist , who , along with every other member of staff we interacted with , deserve recognition for their outstanding service . Check in was fast and friendly, with everything explained straightforward The room was basic.... Mattress was very poor tbh but clean

We stayed here in 6th April. In arrival we were greeted and up graded for free we also added breakfast to our stay at a charge. The room was clean and comfortable. Only 1 cup was in the room so had to wait for a cuppa, not a problem. The soap dispenser didn’t work in the shower also not a big problem. When we went down for breakfast the next day the service was poor to say the very least, Ordered eggs to be delivered to the table waited over 35 mins for the remainder of breakfast to come from the kitchen my eggs were sat in the table cold while I waited for the buffet breakfast to be replenished . Me and my husband ate separately due to no food availability. Many people complained and the staff looked stressed and upset. I requested a refund on the breakfast from reception. I went through a complaint with one member of staff to be passed onto another senior member of staff to be given the refund. The refund was not issued as we had to go through a complaints procedure. I don’t like to complain but the service was poor and a refund in the breakfast was the very least I expected . Sort it out!!! According to other guests it had been a reoccurring problem for there stay

Visited Liverpool with a group of friends, booked via Travel Zoo at supposed discount on five privileged rooms. Fantastic location. Varying responses from staff at different times, firstly before arriving I asked if hotel had a carpark and was told no, on arrival having parked at a local carpark we were told the hotel car park was just around the corner. Between us our rooms had different service, some had a nice view, some of office block, some were quiet and some were not quiet, some had coffee / tea / biscuits / robes / slippers some did not, even though we requested several times some rooms were restocked and cleaned, some were not. Our room was definitely not sound proofed, when the guests in the room next to us came back in the night I thought they had come into our room we could hear every words, cough, sneeze etc. The doors bang loudly on closing. Next door seemed to have put their air-con unit on the second day and it sounded like an aircraft taking off in our room. A quick request to reception and someone came up to turn it off. I wouldn't want to stay here in height of summer if you needed your aircon units switched on, the noise was deafening. The room was large on a corner, bed was comfortable, the shower room was small. The breakfast was help yourself buffet, food all a good standard.
