I feel cheated

For the price that we paid, I have to say that I wholly underwhelmed. Maybe it’s my fault for having too high expectations, maybe I’m a dreamer, but my oh my what a terrible room. Small, cramped, smelly and cold, it is not how I expected to spend 3 days in city of love. It was, in fact, so below the standards I expected for the price I paid that we left after an hour to find a different hotel. Vive Le France indeed, but certainly not Vive Le Ibis. Merci.

Avoid - especially if you have kids

If you want a trouble-free stay, with reliable customer service from the hotel, and customer serices: AVOID this hotel. We had a dreadful experience and trying to get any reply from this hotel, or Accor head office is essentially impossible, it takes months for them to reply and then they don't answer your question. Through our very frustrating experience we discovered that this is a franchise: not a pure "Accor" hotel so Accor customer services won't help if there are any issues with the hotel. I wish we'd paid more attention to the online reviews: there are plenty of well reviewed hotels nearby for a similar price. Next time we'll know better -- and will avoid Accor.

Hotel was clean and reasonable what you pay for. Staff Menal was very friendly and helpful. She explained us very clearly in English about tourist location and how to reach there by local transport. Other staff were helpful too. Not too from train station and metro is just nearby.

"Is a hotel with small rooms and good personal,i think for the price its good it isnt a luxury but I dont think is horrible, the personal is good and the food is well, the ubication is very interesting because is near to some restaurants and the subway."

Budget with Convenience

The hotel is very close to the railway station Gare de l'est. Another busy railway station, Gare du Nord for international train like Thalys and Eurostar is accessible by foot and via Metro. There is plenty of bus and Metro routes at your door step and Accor Group has 5 Ibis and one Mercure Hotels in the same vicinity that are not very pricy and cater to variety of customer needs and options. Late check out is also possible and is not very expensive. A lot of multicultural restaurants are located in the area and if you want to go to city center Metro station and bus stops are there as well. Cheap food all around the area and a lot of bars. I hope you will enjoy.
