Room full of mosquitos

Got to the hotel at 9am requesting a check in and wasn’t checked in till 3pm. Even though other guests came hours after me, and they were checked in straight away. I ended up using a friends room until I was handed the keys finally at 3:30pm. I didn’t enter my room till 11:50pm only to find the whole bathroom and bedroom full with mosquitos. My instant reaction was to call concierge and ask for them to move us. They moved us after inspecting the room to the 7th floor exactly the same room. The icky feeling of not having a clean room cannot be removed unfortunately. As compensation I was offered a lunch or a dinner in the lobby restaurant. No other help was given and when asked to be moved to a slightly different room to make our stay more comfortable, the request was immediately denied. Only the first night here yet but it’s not been off to a great start!! Will not be coming back here

Beautifully located hotel. The territory is very beautiful, the beach is clean, there is enough space, the staff and service are great. I would especially like to emphasise a guy called Shakeel who works on the beach, always cheerful, friendly and always helpful in everything

he hotel wasn't as nice as it appeared in the pictures. It's not worth the $400 I paid. In the restaurant, the food was cold and there were flies flying around In the restaurant, the food was served cold, and there were flies buzzing around. +

Brilliant 5 star quality service from Shakeel at the Fairmont. He was excellent and very accommodating. I would highly recommend his service and Fairmont hotel at the Palm…a calm, tranquil oasis nestled on the Palm. Sid and family
