Quaint but enhancements needed

The service is pleasant and consistent with staff members who go all out to assist guests. The facade of the hotel is amazing with high ceilings and majestic furnishing; albeit slight dated. The Swiss club lounge was a good respite from the sweltering heat, with sincere and accomodating team members like Khun Pimm, Khun Mon, Khun Sommon and Khun Pek (trainee). I appreciate the assistance by front office associates like Khun Bell and Duty Managers, Kenneth and Jeb, and even the executive housekeeper, Khun Jane, who constantly checks in with me on my room condition. The restaurant breakfast service was amazing and they were able to turn around seatings quickly. The bar was a pleasant place to have a nice drink and/or snack and Khun Ram was great at recommending menu selections. Certainly, I spent considerable time at the spa and Khun Poy and my therapist, Khun Nadia were ever so amicable and helpful. A recurring issue which the hotel management must address would be the smoking and etiquette within the premises by mainland Chinese guests. They are also seen removing their shoes and placing their feet on tables and bantering loudly across the hall. First, stricter enforcement is needed. People were observed smoking right at the hotel foyer on the steps and staff do nothing about it. Second, the aircon vent system needs to be upgraded. The smoke could be coming from anywhere and it's challenging to detect which room/guest is responsible. Clearly, there are no smoke detectors in the rooms or they are simply not sensitive enough. I regret that I will be taking my business elsewhere the next time I visit Bangkok. Other hotels appear to come down hard on noise disturbances, improper etiquette and smoking. I had a very comfortable stay with Swissôtel Ratchada, starting from checking, the guest service manager “Keneth” was really helpful, all the staff members of the hotel are pleasant and welcoming. Comfortable and friendly staff It's been a long time since I visited since COVID-19. The staff there also changed a lot. However, a staff member named LookPad recognized me. I was impressed. And I felt happy. I would like to thank all the staff. I promise to visit again within a few days. 편안하고 친절한 직원 코로나19 이후로 정말 오랜만에 방문했습니다. 그곳의 직원들도 많이 바뀌었어요. 그런데 룩패드라는 직원이 나를 알아봐 주었습니다. 나는 감명을 받았으며 심지어 행복하다고 느꼈다. 모든 직원에게 감사의 말씀을 전하고 싶습니다. 며칠 안에 다시 방문할 것을 약속드립니다.

Great experience, super friendly staff and facilities are top notch. Executive lounge staff are excellent and informed and there was nothing that could be improved Rooms are large , beds were super comfortable. Breakfast is excellent, a large choice and caters for everyone

Been staying at Swissotel Ratchada since 2016. Convenient location and spacious rooms, not to mention friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was great with many varieties. Fitness centre was well equipped and clean and the air-conditioning was ample. Highly recommended!
