Wonderful hotel, not just the hardware and the top location but especially the staff. Everyone has a friendly smile and is full of kindness, the elder lady with very short hair at the breakfast is the best example. Check out their nice pool and lawn and breakfast buffet is a tasty must.

Stayed here before this trip but never had a chance to write a review so I thought this time around I'd write one. Doorman is pretty friendly, check in was pretty smooth and the room provided was up to the standard, just like one that you'd expect from most Sofitel around the world. The view was pretty good, on a high floor and relatively quiet so kudos for the front office for reading and accomodating my request. Can't complain. Breakfast was borderline not up to scratch for a 5* hotel in my opinion, simply not enough selection and not really showcasing great local cuisine. Swimming pool is good, the length is suffice for lap swimming. The location (above MRT station and connected to Virgin Active gym) is simply perfect for my need whenever I visit Singapore, i.e. fly in, meet up, eat, gym, run, fly out, repeat. So yes, repeat it is for this one. See you on the next review.

The pillows are very soft, however I LOVE that they offer a pillow menu for varying preferences of firmness. Pool is gorgeous and peaceful. The gym has adequate amount of space and equipment. Staff is lovely and friendly. The bartender Chris at 1864 was so sweet and attentive. All in all one of my favorite stays to date! Can’t wait to come back one day ☺️

Very nice hotel

Very nice hotel, close to the Tanjong Pagar MRT. Around a 30 dollars fare from the airport. Check-in was quick thanks to Alison who was very polite. Next day Myra at reception was also very polite and looked after my requests. In the evening, concierge booked a taxi which arrived quickly. In the morning noticed an international paper stand only a minute walk from the hotel. Will stay here again the next time I'm in Singapore. Thanks again for a great stay.

Myra, the front office staff was friendly and efficient. Myra went the extra mile to ensure me and my family had a great stay and check on us every time we passed by the reception.
