Had an amazing dinner. Surya was very attentive to our needs and made our honeymoon very special. I highly recommend the seafood BBQ.

We came down to the Toya Restaurant on the beach… We were served by Mardi ,his service was 10 out of 10 ,so lovely and polite.. We had the B.B.Q plater for two which was absolutely delicious..followed by dessert which was gorgeous..In between Marsi was liking after us.. Guys we were that impressed we haves booked another evening with them on Sunday night .. Highly recommended Guys … Love Patti & Derek 🙂🙂

Boxing with Azril

Azril was not only knowledgeable but also patient and encouraging, especially for someone like me who was a beginner in boxing. He took the time to teach me the basics and helped me improve my technique throughout the session. The location was perfect, with the waves crashing nearby and the sun setting in the background—it felt like a scene out of a movie! Boxing on the beach added an extra thrill and uniqueness to the whole experience.I highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting Sofitel.

Nice rooms and main pool but bad food, expensive drinks and random charges

The hotel itself is nice with established grounds, good quality rooms with a great main pool and a waterslide in the kids pool which my 4yr old loved. The bar staff at the pool are great although general service attention isn't what you'd expect from Sofitel or equivalent resort. Main complaint is around the food (not great) and the "all inclusive" deal we got...all inclusive at Sofitel involves carrying around vouchers to redeem food attached to a limited menu and not at all restaurants which I feel was sooo ridiculous, plus staff would request the voucher as soon as you went to be seated which isn't the most welcoming approach..but ultimately don't advertise as all inclusive when it's not the case and you need to pay extra for some dishes or just couldn't claim at all at the pool bar/restaurant therefore making you pay for the food you may actually want to eat. In terms of activities, they also charged meaningless amounts for most activities (e.g to throw a sack into a hole cut in wood is $5 per hour...why????) meaning to do anything, you again are signing and charging...having stayed next door at club med Nusa dua where everything is actually included as well drinks, all food at anytime and anywhere as well as activities the value of Sofitel isn't there so we will be going back to club med or elsewhere next time.
