Terrible. Nothing like a typical Novotel.

I stayed here for 4 nights on business but would never stay here again. It felt like a dodgy hotel, not a Novotel! The walls are paper thin and I could hear other guests (who weren’t even being loud) coming and going from their rooms and talking. I am a very deep sleeper but was continually woken by guests coming and going. I had my room cleaned daily but my used coffee mugs were never taken away and replaced with clean ones, and the bin in my bathroom was not emptied once. The air conditioner was extremely loud and made an awful sound every time it needed to adjust to a cooler setting and it rattled like that until the room cooled down, and would ramp up again when the room warmed up. The only positives were that the front desk staff were very professional and friendly, the shower pressure was good and the bed was ok.

Everything was spotlessly clean, bed were very comfortable. We were provided with milk, tea and coffee. There is shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap. Our room had a bathtub. Parking is underneath, I feel you psy enough for the room without the extra $45 per night to park. 5 min walk to Commbank Stadium.

This hotel is incredibly underwhelming. The rooms are old (like, old) and quite poorly maintained. The bathrooms resemble an early 90’s public hospital bathroom. The small shower bath combo was a real treat.. the tiny piece of glass doesn’t do much to stop the water flooding the bathroom mid-shower and the tiles are that old you can see the screw holes from all of the different positions the soap shelf has been in over the years. Weirdly the smoke detector in the room was covered in a plastic bag.. not sure what that was about. The bar is a very small awkward space. Not a relaxing area to have a post-work drink. On a positive side the staff were great. I was offered an upgrade for my Diamond membership, scary to think my room was considered an upgrade.

Stayed at Novotel parramatta a number of times. Great location. Wonderful staff. Breakfast enjoyable even though busy staff were quick to clear tables Best cheese platters Our upgraded room included a separate bedroom. Perfect. Why stay anywhere else. Close to church streets eateries

My recent stay... - The room was clean, comfortable, a bit sparse, however I was only sleeping there. - Dinner at 350 restaurant, the food was very good, however terribly slow and what appeared to be only one person working in the dining room, seemed not enough staff. - The bar, again one person and when a flood of people arrived, very slow to be served, that is a resourcing issue as well. - Check in and checkout was seamless and very friendly. - Breakfast, excellent, good selection, very on point and friendly staff. Overall, a good stay, however the staff (except the breakfast service) looked tired and stretched, which limits their ability to engage and be a little brighter with their service - that is what I found. Would I rerun? - Yes!
