Great for families

We stayed in one of the two bedroom villas, as we have done on a number of occasions before. So we knew what to expect and weren’t disappointed. The accommodation is spacious and very user friendly as well as clean. We did have an issue with ants and a flooding shower in our first room, but management were happy to move us with minimal fuss. It’s probably true that the units are coming due for a refresh, but given the great location and friendly staff we were perfectly happy and would stay again.

Best place to stay if you’re visiting Margaret River area

Had a terrific stay. The staff were all really friendly and professional. Bunker Bay is stunning and if you have a car it’s a great place to stay while visiting the Margaret River area. Beach is beautiful and the pool area is great. Food was exceptional too

Do not go to the spa!

We headed here for our Easter break. Sadly the hotel is not at the level it should be. On top of that, I went to the spa and had an awful experience - have never felt more uncomfortable in my life. When I complained, the hotel and spa staff dismissed my experience.

Service was very good. Room was well equipped, comfortable and clean. Meals in the main dining room were hit and miss. The $89 pp buffet on Sunday night was very disappointing. Poor value for money. Restricted number of dishes. Other meals in the dining room were good. Breakfast and an evening meal from the menu were quite good.

Not Happy Anniversary

Definitely no 5 star resort, we were looking forward to a great little getaway at what we thought was a 5 star resort/experience for our 45th wedding anniversary only to be totally and utterly disappointed. It started with not getting the room we booked and instead of lake views we were positioned looking at other units, spa bath jets way too strong to relax in, bed is very firm. As we headed down to the award winning restaurant for our intimate anniversary meal we noticed a large wedding party in the area close to the small dinning room near the small bar. This wedding party was quite loud seemed to take precedence over the other paying guests, entree’s came cold and unsatisfying, main meals came out with 1 being acceptable with other (steak) quite cold, so had to be returned, we shared the one meal we had until the steak returned but the quality was lacking and it was extremely tough and inedible, to top it off any quiet intimate conversation was useless as the wedding party noise was dominating. On returning to the room we found loads of ants all over the kitchenette and bathroom, overall a very disappointing stay in a average resort with exorbitant prices.
