Bad hotel near the Qingdao airport (TAO)

This hotel is located pretty far from the the city centre and is no longer a member of the Accor group, so the quality is low, although the hotel is 5-stars one. I saw only Chinese people in the hotel. The front desk staff don't speak English. The breakfast food is quite specific for European people.

Convenient to the airport for another month or two.

The best thing about the hotel is convenient rides to and from the airport. But the airport is moving in a couple months so I don't know what they would do. Breakfast was average and coffee was terrible. The gym was basically non existent. No water, no towels, no weight machines, or really any weights for that matter. I went to reception to ask for water and they told me to go back to my room to get it. There was a pool but it was closed and seemed hadn't been used in a real long time. There was no executive lounge and the free drinks consisted of sprite or coke, nothing else available. If there is a worse Pullman I haven't been.

This is a hotel close to the airport so I suppose many tour groups stay here. We were put here on our tour for the last night which was OK for a one-night stay. There is not much around except the river across the street. Everything else is pretty much suitable for locals only. One strange design that I still don't understand is the stairway that lead to our hotel room. Why those steps for the same floor when guests have to haul their luggage up and down? This is not accessible for people with mobility issues. Explanation needed.

Stayed at the Pullman Qingdao Ziyue for an overnight stay in Qingdao... Late check in, rooms were clean and breakfast was okay, but more choices would be greatly appreciated... I was provided with free shuttle to the Qingdao Liuting Airport.

Hotel is for sleeping, bad experience

What do you have a hotel for? In the first place for a good sleep. The rest is circumstantial. The night before I set the climate control at 18 degrees, I badly woke up in a hot room with a temperature at 26 degrees. Attached pictures are the proof. Why is it so difficult to install a good working climate control in such a hotel with expensive interior?
