Terrible stench from the creek right beside the resort.

I could have rated this resort 2 notches higher but the stench from the creek right beside the hotel can’t be overlooked. The stench also attracted flies which managed to enter the restaurant. Food: 1. Breakfast buffet was decent and served fresh fruits and specialty milk teas. 2. Ala carte lunch & dinner menu was great and served a good variety of Thai dishes. 3. Friday seafood buffet was delectable and served fresh oysters, rock lobsters, sashimi, squid, etc… Pool Villa: 1. Our private pool villa was heated and was far away from stench of the creek. 2. Rooms were nice & tidy but could use a little updating. Beach: 1. The beachfront could use some early morning rakes to remove debris from incoming waves. Service: 1. Receptionists were welcoming and made sure our check-in & check-out experiences were seamless. 2. Restaurant was properly manned by courteous and attentive servers. We might consider coming back to this place only if the stench from the creek is addressed.

Apart from that, we are glad to read you have enjoyed various aspects of our resort, including our Villa, F&B, and the friendly service of our members. Bad hotel in the world

It’s a very bad hotel and staff 1- there is no air conditioner in the lobby 2- the smell is horrible 3-there is a Gecko inside the room 4- the food is not good 5- the way to the room is very complicated 6- the staff is not friendly 7- no comfortable areas

Our resort lobby in the open-air areas gives our guests an ocean-breathtaking arrival experience however, A/C is also provided in other common areas for our guest comfort. Your comments on the unpleasant odor have been taken very seriously and our housekeeping department has been alerted to inspect and address this as a matter of priority. As for the presence of a lizard could happen in a tropical resort and we are working with our pest control provider to prevent from our guest room. We have noted your feedback about our food quality, and I have sent your remarks to our Executive Chef for review. Our commitment to serving delicious food is of utmost importance. Your comments about the challenging route to your room have been handed over to our guest services team. We will take it into account for future room assignments and signage improvements. Lastly, I am sorry to hear about the unfriendly behavior you experienced from our team. Our stay here was really comfortable and memorable. We are really happy with all the staffs here who had made us feel warm welcomed during the entire stay, especially Khun Ploy (F&B) from dining room who is really friendly and helpful. A special thanks to Khun Pataraseth (General Manager) who really made us feel at home here.

My family and I had an incredibly relaxing 16-day stay at your hotel, and we are delighted that we chose the Novotel Kamala Beach for our vacation. The service, comfort, and location made it a truly wonderful experience for us. All our requests were promptly attended to, and we were very pleased with the two connecting double rooms we stayed in. One minor issue we encountered was the inconsiderate practice of reserving pool loungers by other hotel guests. However, this did not significantly detract from our overall enjoyment. The hotel was impeccably clean, and the variety and quality of food and beverages offered were exceptional. We would like to specifically commend three staff members who provided outstanding service throughout our stay: Khun Nong, John Angelo, and Sak. They were exceptionally attentive and provided service that exceeded our expectations. We would be delighted to return in the future and will certainly recommend your hotel to friends and family.
