The stay was amazing the pool is so good the staff at the pool desk is amazing gentleman and a lady the facilities at the pool is so nice for the price, a tThe reception sofian and Wahid are amazing they are always smiling and welling to help us and also the buffet for the iftar was nice

To say this hotel underwhelmed is an understatement. The pictures posted online is nothing like the reality of this hotel, which I have attached expectation versus reality for you to not be duped as my family and I were. We checked in, which took us over an hour with a screaming child (not that the reception could have cared less about this). There was no warm welcome and rather they made the entire check in process lengthy and unwelcoming. Despite having requested a cot to be in the room, it took 40mins after check in to arrive, by which time my exhausted child was over tired having missed his nap and in melt down mode - thanks for that! Got to the room and immediately noticed the damp smell from the room and the far smaller size of rooms than were advertised. The plump pillows proudly displayed on their website paled in comparison as two rather meak flattened pillows that awaited us on our tiny double bed. The bed was so uncomfortable, both myself and my husband had backache the following day. The short circuit in the lights made them flicker incessantly during the night despite having switched them off. The views that fooled me into thinking the hotel was situated on a beach front, were rather of a green, murky lake side with no sand as advertised online but rather grey, jagged stone. The service at this hotel also took ages. If you ordered something from housekeeping, it would take at least 30 - 60 mins for anything to arrive. We wanted to leave and go somewhere else but were too tired to bother doing so. On a positive note, the lobby was beautifully decorated for Ramadan. I would not stay here again due to how deceptively they attract customers. Im shocked that more people havent commented on the stark contrast of online versus reality. Truly catfished by Novotel.

We were delighted with the staff of the NOVOTEL Abu Dhabi Gate Hotel

We stayed at the NOVOTEL Abu Dhabi Gate Hotel for two days. The hotel is new and modern. The room is clean, bright, not very big. Spacious gym and pleasant outdoor pool. But what struck us the most was the staff at this hotel. Lest we ask to do, bring or remove - their reaction was instant. We traveled in Abu Dhabi a lot, but we have never met such high level of the service! BRAVO! I would like to highlight and thank housekeeper Marlar Win for her accuracy, hard work, responsiveness and politeness, as well as concierges Islam and Nithin Meethal for their attentiveness and diligence. Also, I am grateful to manager Mahendra and receptionist Ahmed, who showed attention and responsiveness due to my request to organize on-line conference.
