The service was brilliant throughout our stay. We asked if we stay a spare night as we had a change of plans. They we very accommodating. Parag helped us out massively.

Ramma the manager is a nightmare not caring about his guest’s safety wellbeing or the consequences of drug use at the hotel

Lovely food and beautiful room and grounds to the hotel. I would return with my family. I would recommend to others as a relaxing place to come and enjoy a weekend. Next time I will bring a swimming costume to enjoy the facilities in the spa area.

The best staff

I have been at this hotel a couple of times due to my job and their such good facilities (swimming pool, jacuzzi, saunas, and comfortable rooms and beds). All the staff are always very friendly, however I have to mention my experience with Andriea. I have never seen such a professional, hard worker, attentive and kind person... she served my meals in the restaurant always with a friendly smile, and she also checked me in at the spa reception with exactly the same manners and smile. This made my day. I guess she probably works in both sections of this hotel, and she deserves all the best. Her customer service is outstanding. Thank you for all your recommendations and to remember my food order (exactly how I like ...incredible!) I highly recommend this hotel. The views before the sunset are a must.

Avoid being dropped off, or dropping off at this hotel

Beware, this hotel uses a firm called Parking Eye to monitor vehicles entering the grounds of the hotel and leaving. I was dropping off my wife and mother in law and stopped outside the reception for unloading. I was on the grounds of the hotel for a total of 10 minutes. I received a demand for money from Parking Eye. I refused to pay them and was summonsed to a court hearing at which point they dropped their case. The stay was ruined by the actions of these people. A year of legal wrangling over being in the grounds with my car for only 10 minutes. Be warned, this could happen to you. This is what Mercure thinks of its customers.

Dear Dave Thank you for this review. You could have avoided all of this, if you simply followed the instructions displayed. In total, there are 26 A1 size posters in car park asking all patrons to register car details at reception. It takes less than 30 seconds to register car details at reception Vs dealing with legal warnings from Parking eye for an year long. From our side, we kept more than required awareness inside & outside our hotel. Regards, Rama Arimilly. General Manager.
