Excellent Hotel, let down.

Excellent hotel let down by poor room facilities. Two teabags, two coffee tubes, no milk no water and a cheap kettle that tainted your drink with a plastic smell and taste. Had to contact receptions on both days of our stay to let us have those basic items. Apart from that the room and bed were very comfortable. Now the really good points. On arrival wee had a wonderful welcome from a smiling Simon who assisted us with car parking. In the well stocked bar Giovanni helped to choose the wine. Dinner was very yummy with lots of choices and served with the undivided attention of Daniele, he is a real credit to the Mercure.

Fantastic choice for Siracusa!!!

The Hotel is a great position and the building is quite new. The rooms are very clean and very well furnished . Well, organized and spacious. The breakfast on the sixth floor next to the pool is fabulous. Dinner was very well served. The staff are very attentive and polite. The organization of whole hotel is behind believe. The staff at reception and the staff at the restaurant excellent. Great choice .

One of the hotel on our tour to visit Sicilia and really really good choice. Happy to see this place and for sure want .

Really nice hotel with fantastic person Umberto 🤝🤝🤝 We was for 3 days but next time will be more. Lower season is comfortable when You don’t like rush.hotel is located near to all places what everyone need. Thank You for help and support and see You next time.

Positive - great hotel. Negative - felt slightly far away from a lot of things.

This hotel was good, the room was large and clean, good amenities, and a nice but basic breakfast buffet. The location was a little further away from the historical centre, but was very close to the Siracusa archaeological park (which was excellent), and otherwise walking distance to other parts of Syracuse or to Ortigia (about 30 minute walk). If I returned to Syracuse I would probably stay in the area closer to Ortigia.

A lovely property, in a walkable neighbourhood.

Spotless, comfortable and staffed by the kindest people in Siracusa. A lovely view from the roof, where breakfast was served daily. A short walk to Ortega in one direction and to the Tomb of Archimedes in another.
