Great place to sleep & shower

We were on a road trip so parking was important. This hotel does have a nice sized parking lot. I did notice that as the evening went on it did fill up. Parking is free. Since we were traveling with 2 teenagers we had 2 rooms. Their rooms are extremely small - like you barely have room to walk around the bed. They have a double bed with a twin bed over the top of it. If all you are doing is using the room to sleep and get ready, it's fine. Their A/C worked really well. They did have a breakfast option in the morning but it looked very limited so we passed on it. There is a restaurant next door which was very convenient for dinner. We had read about it & it had mixed reviews. I'm happy to say we had wonderful service & food.

Clean room, great price

Clean comfortable room. Opening the window allowed cool air to come in. Towels were provided but no wash clothes. It is outside of town, so if you don’t have your own car, you will need to rely on taxis. The staff was good to call one for us to get us to the D-Day tour on time. There was a nice restaurant next door which was our only option unless we took a taxi. The comforter was quite hot at night. It would have been nice to have a lighter blanket. The breakfast provided for a small extra cost was good and convenient to get started in the morning. We got to the hotel very early and the staff was very kind to let us check in early since they had availability.

We often stay in this chain but this time in this hotel and others we have found the air conditioning to be weak or not working at all. Not everyone likes to roast in their room. Probably down to saving money on electricity.

We chose this hotel to be our headquarters for a weeklong exploration of Normandy WWII sites. Despite the small size of the room, we were very comfortable. The room layout maximized the space. We appreciated having an air conditioner with in-room controls and great water pressure and heat with the shower. The breakfast was quite good as well, although we bought it on demand as we didn't need it every day. We should have brought a hot water kettle for the room, and there was a single hair dryer for the whole hotel or so it seemed, but the staff were as friendly and helpful and multilingual as the other reviews have stated. Every morning we opened the tilt-and-turn window and smelled the wonderful perfume of the Norman countryside—expressway or no.

A nice Hotel close to Bayeux.

This Hotel is a typically Ibis Budget Hotel. Tidy, clean and descent. The room was comfy but a bit to small since the handsink was placed outside the bathroom in the room. But I’ll still give it a top review since you get a good value for your money.
