Nice Barcelona hotel

The hotel is well positioned - near historical and touristic objectives. Clean room - daily visits from housekeeping lady. Towels were changed daily. Hotel's bar/restaurant offers a small variety of food but really tasty.

I was a bit concerned when I approached this hotel as there is building works opposite but they caused me no issue. Hotel is very nice inside, staff are good at what they do from reception through to housekeeping. I didnt have breakfast in the hotel as there are so many great places within a 5 min walk for breakfast/brunch. I hired a bike from Bikelona (600m) away from the hotel. I spent 3 days whizzing around on the bike and it was amazing. Hotel is only 15 mins by bike from sagrada familia. In fact it was only about 15 mins away from most places. Cycle lanes are amazing in Barcelona. Hotel has bike storage nearby (30 sec walk away). Bikes are safe in Barcelona, I used a D lock provided with the bike, I would never use such a lock on my bike in the UK. Back to the hotel, my first room had an issue with the sink, the next day I was moved to a room at the back of the hotel and I couldn't have been happier with the room. Good air con that can be left on when you're not in the room. Quiet space with great black out blinds. Comfy bed. Good shower with decent pressure. Loads of great eating places, there's a huge Westfield really close to the hotel that was a surprise. A big carrefour supermarket is located there. There is a rambla about a 6 minute walk away with about 100 bars and restaurants down the long pedestrian area. The hotel is in a lovely quiet area where you can see Barcelonians going about their day. I would come back here again.

LADRONES I have a good time till my check out Location is good I have everything I need very easy The room was very clean But on my check out when I try take a train to airport the receptionist long hair quiet fat said NO TRAIN IN BARCELONA TO AIRPORT If she have commission it's ok But don't lie for guest I sort out in 5 min from good my way to airport by 6 euros instead 50 euros she tried push me to buy I speak spanish but because my friends I was speaking english and I understood when another member staff told her to call someone for it It's so disgusting to be threated as a IDIOT I should write down name but they don't have identification they looks like a guest no uniform BY THE WAY TAKE CARE WITH THE STAFF TRYING TAKE YOUR MONEY IN COMISSION

Not worth €150 a night, located in a very quiet residential/industrial area that is dead at night. About a 10 minute walk from Rambla Poblenou where you can find about 4 blocks of restaurants and shopping. 10 minute walk to either metro Glories or Llacuna. Breakfast is €9 per person, not worth it, you can get a much better breakfast(hot..not cold tortilla española) at Little Fern nearby. I stayed at Ibis Cornella for %60 less and about the same type of area and distance from metro and travel into the tourist area of the city without the sewage smell in the Glories area. A good 20 minutes walk to the beach. Would not stay here again as a visitor unless I had business in the immediate area.

The hotel is nice, just as other Ibis hotels. Location is ok - a bit further from La Rambla, Plaza de Catalunya and the beach, but the closest metro (L4) is just 5 minutes away by foot and it has good connections with other metro lines. There is a shopping center close to the hotel, with few good restaurants and grocery store. The room was clean and good choice if you're staying in Barcelona for few nights. It had everything we needed. Barcelona is not cheap in the high season and the price for staying at this hotel is not low either, but it is worth staying here..The staff was also very nice.
