The total experience of the hotel was mediocre, pretty well fitting in the room rate that was lower than competitors in the same neighborhood. My single room was tiny, barely enough room to stretch up properly. The wall to wall carpet was dusty and the room was too warm. The bathroom sink was tiny and any effort of using it just splashed water all around. People at the front desk were polite but their cooperation didn't work. One promised something and another didn't have a clue. BUT, the breakfast buffet was superb. A work of art. Wide selection of breakfast ingredients carefully organized for display. Fresh flowers in the tables. Even sparkling wine included. I can definitely recommend stepping in and buying it even if you wouldn't stay in the hotel. 10+!

Always a fab stay with Pullman

Absolutely gorgeous hotel! The lobby smells gorgeous and the staff are all so professional and friendly. Amazing room so spacious. Love the bathroom. Shower is amazing!! Fresh water in the room every day! If I was to come to Basel again I would 100% stay here

The Pullman - another great experience

Another great sales meeting at the Pullman Hotel. Sabrina, Soleil, Damian and Doreen in the Conference Centre always manage everything perfectly. Alexander at Reception - a great welcome and very helpful - Paulina also very helpful, Sylvia, Francisco and Valentin at Breakfast make a pleasant start to the day, Maria at Dinner - charming and along with Jula, the chef, give great service and a really good dinner. Overall, the Pullman is a delight to stay at and do a superb job with conferences. The rooms are very well equipped and comfortable. Margarita, the housemaid, did a thoroughly good job of cleaning the room - spotless! Finally, Jens, Jerome and Soleil gave us a great team dinner. Jens, as ever, knows exactly which wine to recommend and mixes some great cocktails.

Beautiful room.

Quiet. Right outside the tram to take us to old town. Room was big and very comfortable. Bed was fabulous with wonderful pillows. Great bath great towels. Decent breakfast. Front desk staff were helpful and kind.

A Pullman without milk!

The hotel is conveniently located at one end of the Main Street, Clarastrasse. The rooms are modern and spacious. The reception staff are friendly and they try to be helpful. However when we asked if we could get some milk for our room as we were going to use the coffee machine, we were told that they don’t provide milk except for powdered milk which had run out! An international hotel without milk is like a pub with no beer! And, when we asked if we could borrow a corkscrew we were told “No, you bring the wine bottle to the restaurant and we open it.” So, all in all a disappointment for Pullman without milk.
