Mercure Berlin city is a simple hotel. It’s just 2 stops by Tram to the main Berlin hbf station. Our room was cozy , compact but quite comfortable for our stay for 6 nights. Bathroom was absolutely clean but again compact. Just enough space for your need . . House keeping was very good and efficient. I did not try their breakfast or any meal . .

no help with our cancelation caused by force majeure

I am dissapointed about the way I am treated by the hotel. I Booked a room and due to a strike of the train personal in whole Germany, I can't come to Berlin. In stead of coming to a solution with me to postbone our stay, for example. They are not willing to do anything at all. I'll have to pay 90% of the original price to cancel my booking.

A great base for a visit to Berlin.

We enjoyed our stay at the Mercure Hotel Berlin City. Some of the criticisms of this hotel are valid (the pillows were a bit lumpy and the bathroom in our non-smoking room smelled a little of smoke) but on balance this is a great spot to stay in Berlin. The location is very convenient to many attractions, the rooms were clean and the buffet breakfast was delicious. Any negatives of the hotel are well compensated by the friendly and helpful staff.

Hotel ist okay, nice standard, upgraded room was small but clean and relatively quiet, Wifi connection was average, wasn't offered High Speed Wifi at reception. Reception experience is also why only 3 and not 4 stars. I am a Platinum Member and was neither welcomed in a good way, nor offered a drink or an upgrade, booking was done through the app so it must have been visible in the system. Very disappointing it is so small to make the difference for your most loyal customers.

آود أولا" ان اشكر الاخ/عثماني والانسة/نوره والانسة/جسكا من فريق الاستقبال علي حسن التعامل والرقي ولقد كان له الاثر الطيب عندي. كما اوجه شكري للسيدة/ميشي من مطعم الافطار على سرعة الخدمة والفريق المتعاونين مع بعضهم البعض. I would first like to thank Brother Othmani, Miss Nora and Miss Jesica from the reception team for their good treatment and sophistication, which had a good impact on me. I would also like to extend my thanks to Mrs. Mishi from the breakfast restaurant for the speed of service and the team who cooperated with each other.
