Overall my friend and I had a good experience stay with Sofitel Cairo Nile El Gezirah. The staffs were professionals and polite. Breakfast was so delicious and variety! I would recommend this hotel to my friends!

This hotel is lovely. I keep going back whenever I'm in Cairo and haves stayed there several times in the last few years. The hotel amenities are superb. The views of the Nile from the pool and lounge bar are amazing. The staff are professional, friendly and mostly genuinely enthusiastic in everything they do. The accommodation is very comfortable and tastefully furnished. I always select accomodation with panoramic views of the Nile. And the food is great. I have to quickly mention the fantastic Yasmin in Guest Relations. She does an amazing job. And does it with professionalism and good humour. Thank you Yasmin :)

Poor room

The room was not as per my request. The staff told me that there is no availbility but this was not acceptable. The rooom smell was not good and there was always a smoke smell inside the room. I had to keep the balcon open to refresh the room. The room was 611 and the noise from AC was too much. No tooth bruches nor iron machine inside the room.
