Youth hostel in disguise.

The comfortable bed and central location are about the only good things about this hotel. Couldn't even turn around in the shower or wash my legs without hitting the tap off or getting scalded ! Toilet paper was distributed out of a metal holder that looked like it was straight out of a public toilet, and was noisy in the middle of the night, I could even here both neighbors in the middle of the night. Felt more like a youth hostel with noisy guests returning at all hours ignoring the signage to be quiet.

Too many inhumans, the treatment is too bad; They are very xenophobic and discriminatory. They are breaking the terms of public health; They do not have a bathroom in the lobby. You cannot use or pay for a bathroom after check-out

Disgusting rooms - no refund - too hot - no refund offered - Do not stay here. You have been warned

The clue is in the title right? Budget. But what you don't expect is terribly maintained rooms that are in total disrepair impossible to clean and are potenitially good harbourage for pests such as cockroaches. (I'm a real life Uk Health Inspector (EHO)). Check the photo's! . I walked into the room was disgusted, walked straight out after taking photo's and demanded a refund from reception. I was refused. In a later email a manager said I should have taken another room as they are not all in such a state. WHy would they let this room out before the 'good ones'.? I expected better service being an Accor group member I would have no confidence that any of the other rooms would be any better. Other reviews have stated how hot the rooms were which I also agree with. My strong advice is ....do not stay here. For a few euro's more stay at the proper Ibis across the road.

IBIS for the Poor

Last minute stop over. 3 different IBIS all next to each other. 3 hotels for the rich, Middle class and the poor. Paid 60 quid for overnite stay at the budget IBIS. Arrived late left early. One towel for the two of us. Bed hard as rock. TV not working. No complimentary tea or coffee. Glad we left at 6am. Was asked if we wanted breakfast. For the IBIS budget its just Bread and water. The Middle IBIS one croissant and coffee. For the rich folks Full breakfast. Folks find somewhere better. Dont stay here unless last resort

Good for a stopover. Rooms rather snug but clean, dark and quiet at night; beds comfy. Good breakfast on offer. Nice chilled vibe. Not the most picturesque part of Tours; it’s a 25 stroll to the olde worlde bit of Place Plumereau. A note on parking: there is a car park next door which costs €8.50, but despite emailing the hotel to ask about parking they didn’t think to mention the height restriction, and, as holiday makers, we had a roof box so we couldn’t use it. There is parking on the street, but for some unknown reason I ended up paying €25 when it should not have been nearly as much. Unfortunately, the hotel couldn’t help with any of that as it’s nothing to do with them. Anyway, just to note so you take care if you are driving and have a roof box or large vehicle.
