Good budget hotel with good public transportation but rooms small

Ibis North point is well ocated for those using public transport.. The A 11 bus from the airport ends right opposite the hotel at the bus stand. The MTR station is a minute away. The north point ferry station is a few minutes away. The best part is that the tram station is a few minutes away which one can use for just $3 a ride. The issue is that the hotel room os really tiny. Its neat/clean and house keeping is good. North Point area isn't fancy like the central area but is convenient as a 7/11 and a McDonald's is a few minutes away. The rooms on the back of the hotel have a bad view of the apartments while a room in the front side of the hotel has a good view of the road and the Mall.. So getting a room on the front side of the hotel makes a huge difference for a better view. This is a good budget hotel.

Clean, convenient and near to MTR Station. Lots of eateries and a market nearby. The Ting Ting Bus terminal is also nearby. Opposite is a small mall with a cinema. There is a ferry terminal too which ferries goes to Kwun Tong. Unfortunately the rooms are small.

Travelled to Hong Kong for the first time since March 2019 and stayed at the Ibis North Point for the sole reason that it was the closest Accor property near the business location that I had to be at over the Kowloon side. I have stayed at plenty of Ibis properties in Europe and Asia over the decade, but this one is just the worst experience I have ever had. There was no heating in the hotel. With the temperatures in Hong Kong going below 10C (it was 7C one night I was there), I literally froze in the hotel room. The only thing I could ask for was an extra blanket - which I did. Had I known this property did not have central heating in the dead of winter, I would never have stayed in it. Shame on Accor and shame on the hotel for not letting me know of this fact at the time of booking.

Reasonable priced great option for a quick stay in Hong Kong

Ibis North Point is a great-priced hotel for people who are technically looking for a bed and breakfast. Small room size, typical of HK hotels, neat and clean with very comfortable bed and change of linen daily. The breakfast is ok, they need to consider more options for the vegetarian traveler. Overall a good option, A minute's walk from the North Point MTR.

The room is small, just like any other hotel in Hong Kong. The room was clean, with daily housekeeping. The bathroom is also small, so mind you people who have a plus sized body might not be too comfortable. As for the amenities, they prepared a 2-in-1 bodywash/shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste, and room slippers. There's also an in-room safe deposit box and hair dryer. The bed is also pretty small, and was on a little hard side, but still comfortable. Overall, and the most important thing is, the room is clean. I got a harbour view room, but since the new mall in front of this hotel kinda blocked the view. Hey aren't we all going to Hong Kong for out and about? I arrived at around 7.30 AM, so it was obvious my room wasn't ready. But they let me leave my luggage so I could start to explore Hong Kong right away. Back again to the hotel at around 2.30 PM, and my room was ready. The check in process was quick and straight to the point. They didn't charge me with a room deposit. Some might say the staffs are rude, but they're just being efficient. So it was just fine. Location is a bit out of Hong Kong's hustle and bustle, but still pretty strategic. There's an MRT exit right next to the building, but if you carry big luggage, you might have to walk a bit to the elevator exit, which is located a little bit further.
