Not on the Level of a 5 Star Hotel

Our Prestigious guests (Dr Pulak Sahay & Dr Rajiv Khushu) and elderly People Have visited New Zealand in Feb 2024 - Mar 2024. When they reach Novotel Wellington after a long journey from Rotorua Taking 6-8 hours found out that the hotel doesn't Have Porter Service for their Guests and charging as a 5 Star Hotel is not Acceptable At all. Dr Sahay & Dr Khushu are Elderly People and had to carry their Luggage all they way to their Rooms After Paying a Decent amount of their hard earned Money. Imagining this in the high season time doesn't Depict picture of any 5 star hotel Services anyhow. Please raise your Standards to be on the list of the 5 stars.

Novotel Rip Off - even if you paid for an executive room.

If you book a room for multiple nights with free minibar and you don't use it alll each night. You will lose it and the greedy Novotel will win. The front desk wasn't helpful at all, the safe wasn't working, TV wasn't bright and no miniature bathroom. Amenities for us to take home. Rip off!

Comfortable three night stay

Stayed for three nights as part of our five week tour of New Zealand. The room on the third floor was comfortable and quiet. Room service came on a daily basis to top up the basics and do the necessary tasks required of housekeeping. The lifts operated well within the hotel but it was slightly inconvenient that the lift down to Lambton Quay closed at 7:30pm. The one disappointing aspect of the hotel was the lobby area and bar which was small and not furnished to a comfortable standard, hence we did not use that area, choosing instead to drink elsewhere.

This hotel is well located and good but it is showing its age. Shower over bath (although a solid grab rail) was not ideal. The safe was out of action (left locked). Excellent bed (although a bit too soft for us). Great bar & dining room with above average food. Reasonable value.

The rooms are OK but need refresh. The hotel restaurant serves nice dinner. There is a lift that will bring you directly to Lambton Quay. 5 min walk to Countdown supermarket. The lift is old but it gets the job done. Very comfortable bed. Overall nice and it was Ok for one night stay.
