I am currently in 318 ,I must say that was disappointed to find out my heartist card rate not included for F&B. You must educate all staff about All membership and their benefits. All staff are good but they need to be more into emotional intelligence, so that guest can feel welcome, acknowledge and appreciated.

I loved every minute of my stay in this hotel. The staff are so courteous and hardworking. It is easy to find, smack on the Old Pretoria Road in Midrand. Please extend my gratitude to the Manager, the reception staff and the Food & Bev/Restaurant staff, especially Sylvia

Good location, a little tired

We stayed at the Mercure Midrand as a base for visiting family and friends in Johannesburg and Pretoria. The location was great for us, in between these cities. The room was decent on size, though a little dated. There was air conditioning, fridge, tea/coffee facilities and a safe. Toiletries were provided. The WiFi was very slow, taking minutes just to load web pages on my mobile. Also, the lift was out of service on the first day but was fine thereafter. We didn't have the breakfast at the hotel. There are shopping malls just s few minutes' drive away.

The room that i got from the Hotel was super. I was attending a serminar which was well located as i would walk to the venue. Good sitting area i was able to sit with my team to have some discussion. I emjoyed staying there, staff gave me a great service

Short weekend stay

We stayed 2 nights at the Mercure. The location was perfect for us as we attended a weekend seminar at Gallagher. Friendly staff. The room needs an upgrade and are a bit too small to my liking. It is fine for 2 nights and the hotel is kept clean; safe venue with enclosed parking and good bedding. We'll be back in a few months for our next seminar.
