Handy location for Arles

Our first impression was that we were miles from town in the middle of nowhere but after taking to the friendly receptionist it turned out we were only a 14 minute walk away along the river, a very pleasant stroll to attractions and restaurants. Bedroms were clean well furnished and fairly spacious. Breakfast was a bit of a non-event, good coffee but very limited items and not great quality. There's a swimming pool for those staying a while and a pleasnt bar. We didn't try the restuarant but it was very popular (maybe because there were 2 coach fulls staying). I'd stay again because it's very easy to find off the motorway.

The rudest reception I've ever experienced. Then booked a double room to find THREE beds in it. But hotel refused to change the room. Thus despite the fact I was spending 1400 euros on the stay. The room itself was run down and dowdy with a shower that didn't work! No apology or refund was offered. Unless you enjoy rudeness and tired rooms - AVOID!

It does not deserve the “Style” badge

This is not a Ibis Style! It is at best a regular Ibis. It the same rooms in the same building as the Ibjs Buget and I do not know why you are paying twice the price of the Inis Budget room. The bed and pillows are OK fortunately, but the rooms are small, the furniture is of poor quality and boring. There is no chair nor a small desk. There isn’t even a small coffee machine !! I definitely expect more form an Ibis Style. Now let’s talk about the bathroom. Old fashion and falling apart. Very basic and very low quality. The shower or bathtub are tiny and the shower cord is so small that anyone over 1,80m will struggle to bring over their head. Again would probably be acceptable for a regular Ibis but not at the price of an Ibis Budget !

Monsieur, pour répondre sur certains points que vous évoquez au sujet de notre enseigne, sachez que nous sommes bien classifiés en 3 étoiles, car nous répondons aux critères attendus. Je tiens également à vous préciser que nous sommes un Combo (Ibis Styles : 3 étoiles et Ibis Budget 2 étoiles), cela signifie qu'il y a bien une différence de prix, des équipements dans nos chambres et salles de bain entièrement différents, un petit-déjeuner qui n'est pas semblable et en phase avec les prix appliqués. N'hésitez pas Monsieur de visualiser nos photos sur le site sur lequel vous réservez, vous pourrez ainsi sélectionner l'établissement à votre goût. Toutes mes équipes sont attentives au quotidien à l'entretien de tous nos espaces au sein de l'établissement. Weird pricing structure - the longer the stay the more the nightly price increases!

We booked six nights at the Ibis Styles hotel in Arles, they charged us 600.51 euro. The room is clean, breakfast is good and the staff are generally very good. I'd avoid the wine though. When we asked if we could stay an extra night we were told the price for a week was 759 euro. When I pointed out that they were asking for an extra 159 euro for one night they explained that the price increases exponentially the longer we stay. I then showed him the booking.com page showing ANYONE could stay here on that night for £83 (94 euro) so I'd book the hotel hrough booking.com The guy on reception told me the booking wouldn't be accepted! Last time I EVER stay in an ibis hotel!

3 of 4 Rooms with not working AC, breakfast's running out of products

We booked 4 rooms for a week and of those only 1 had a working AC. We got 3 rooms on another floor for the night and then the next day we were rejoined on the same floor with rooms that had working AC's. During our stay we encountered a very poorly managed breakfast. Most of the time basic items like croissant, orange juice, milk in the coffee machine to make cappuccino were missing. Also swimming pool is cleaned during the day with a machine rooming about dragging a cord over the whole length of the swimming pool. Terras is not actively cleaned, broken glass is left. All in all it is laissez faire managed hotel which responds kindly to all above items and tries to fix them after the occurred.
