Arrived late, after midnight after driving across France. Did the online check in the day before.arrived at the hotel and it was unmanned, put reservation number into machine and it said not validated. Tried buzzer and phone number but no reply, couldn't book on the machine as hotel was full. Had to sleep in the car.. had similar issues in Rouen on the way down but there was someone at the desk. Why don't you get the access codes and room code when you check in online..

La Chambre avec salle de bain (appelée dans leur jargon cabrio) est petite mais fonctionnelle. Les Parties communes ont été rénovées. Petit-déjeuner sympa pour ce type d'hôtels. Bon rapport qualité/prix.

This hotel looks the most like the pictures on the hotel website of anyplace I've ever stayed. Bright cheerful colors. Very clean, very simple, very small. The showers and toilets are down the hall, but after you use one and exit, the door locks and there is a automatic cleaning done for a couple of minutes before it becomes available again. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was extra, but a good value. The standard breakfast we had all over France. Check in is done with your credit card during off hours. The sink in the room was very helpful, except there is no soap in the room. It would have been nice for some soap. The showers turn off automatically after about 1 minute, but you just punch it back on. It was a little too short for my liking, and I had to hit it an annoying number of times to complete my shower. Location is in what seemed like a light industrial area away from the center of town, but just off the main road. It seems like a perfect stopping place for a business person just needing a place to sleep and doesn't want to have to go into town and fight traffic to get to a hotel. (similar to the interstate hotels we have in the USA) We had 2 rooms; one was the room for 2; the other the room for 3. The room for 2 seemed a bit better divided up, but in the room for 3 the lower bunk was quite roomy, and my husband and I slept on it together without any problem. We are used to a California King, and often will sleep in separate beds if the beds are just full sized. Excellent hotel for no surprises, budget business person, clean, simple, no fuss. If you don't mind being away from the action, the value of it can't be beat! I would consider F1 hotels anyplace after staying here.

This was the first time that I'd stayed at an F1 motel. The loos on my corridor were out of order and it meant a rather long walk to find the appropriate facilities near the front desk. The rooms were clean and tidy and the beds were okay. The location was really good as we could easily resume our journey without having to go into the centre of St. Lo.

Good value for money!

First time staying at F1 budget hotel and didn't know what to expect. Cheap, clean, basic but comfortable. Not the best location but good enough. We stayed during the 'out of season' period so there were few other guests. Sound proofing for the rooms might be improved and I did miss an en-suite, but it was extremely cheap and as we were touring we only had a couple of nights there. Most other guests were business travellers who were there for one night. Good value.
