Booked last minute and was surprised to find this hotel to be in a great central location with a plentiful choice of restaurants close at hand. Room was spacious and clean. Great secure valet parking. The hotel was very peaceful with a nice relaxing bar area with all of the hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate in choosing this hotel again.

We had a 1 night stay on our way to Hobbiton. The room on 4th floor was very clean and comfortable and met all our requirements. The bar and restaurant on site were great, and there were 3 restaurants right across the road. The staff were all very pleasant, particularly the guy on the bar who was so warm, friendly and hospitable, and the breakfast crew also were very kind. Our stay included welcome drinks and buffet breakfast, and overall gave us great value for a family of 4.

Very nice hotel in Hamilton

Very good hotel choice in Hamilton - probably the best place in town. Very central to many eating and drinking options and less than an hour to Hobbiton and the Waitomo Caves. We were kindly upgraded to a newly renovated executive room as Accor Platinums which was appreciated. Air conditioning was ancient however and made a loud rattling sound that affected our sleep, and the restaurant was underwhelming - dirty plates and cutlery were left uncleared from tables and they charged an extra $6 for a barista made coffee on top of the $37pp buffet charge!! If I didn't get breakfast for free as a platinum I definitely wouldn't pay for it here, simply not worth it. Staff nice, and gym quite good. Valet parking nice and easy.

Great hotel in a great location

Stayed for 2 nights as a last minute booking that morning. The only room available was a large suite and the price wasn't too bad considering. The room was excellent with a large lounge and separate bedroom that could be closed off if you wanted. The large windows in both rooms let in loads of light. The bed was huge and very comfortable and the bathroom also large with a big bath and large walk in shower. All of the bedding and bathroom linen were of a high quality and made for a very comfortable stay. The staff at check-in were great and the breakfast had a good selection and on the whole was pretty good. The location was great for anything you might need in downtown Hamilton. Highly recommended.

Ok but by no means great

Room was clean when we arrived, we stayed for 2 nights but no house keeping either night. Parking is an issue, first night we got free parking but the second night all parking was taken and we had to park at the casino. Staff were hit and miss, one lovely lady who checked us in but other staff weren’t friendly. You could walk in and out past staff who would let acknowledge you.
