Another average, satisfactory stay at an Ibis hotel. Usually you know what to expect from an Ibis and this was again the case with this hotel, but with a few exceptions. It was just across the road from the station and about a 15/20 minute walk to the centre. My room was clean and reasonably spacious and overlooked the railway tracks. I didn’t try breakfast as I had an early train to catch but I did have an evening meal which was satisfactory. The one thing I can’t understand is why there isn’t uniformity between each Ibis. The one I stayed at in Lyon offered complimentary hot drinks. This Ibis didn’t. The ibis in Lyon had breakfast included in the price. This one didn’t. If there was uniformity between hotels it would be easier to know where you are. So, overall, a basic Ibis. Nothing really terrible, nothing really amazing.

Less than a 10 minute walk from the train station and 15 minutes from centre of town, this hotel is ideally situated. A large air-conditioned room with double glazing. Very good bathroom area. Free wifi available which provides a strong signal. Very friendly and helpful English speaking reception. Breakfast was a bit disorganized but mostly due to a large group of children in a sporting team.

The Smell , basic breakfast and a nice evening meal . Would not stay again

Room cost £100 €110 $135 for the night Room 809 Room and corridor stunk of cigarettes , I had to put a towel at the bottom of the door to stop the smell of cigarette smoke coming in . Hotel full so no room change . Room was OK apart from above and a good comfortable mattress, powerful shower . Staff where never rude but definitely need to be more attentive in hospitality . Evening meal was Chicken Burger , Fries and 1 beer €26 , tasty and best thing about the review , restaurant menu very small but it's an ibis . Breakfast in the morning was a little chaotic , very small room with a full hotel . It's more of a continental breakfast so don't expect a hot cooked breakfast. Question for Management Do you still have smoking rooms in 2023 ? It really ruined my stay .

Very good hotel close to the train station and next to the botanical gardens. Quiet, modern, and clean. The staff was very professional and helpful. We had a room with a view to the back, which worked out well because the other side is station and if you don’t want to hear trains coming and going, that might be a better side to stay. The restaurant looked nice, though we didn’t use it. Excellent choice for a short stay i n this beautiful city

Very easy walk from the train station, then about 10-15 minutes walk to the historic center. The location is great. Unfortunately wasn’t impressed by the staff. As a Platinum member and despite the fact that I booked two rooms for a total of 4 people, we were offered only 1 welcome drink. Pretty cheap… The people serving dinner and breakfast didn’t impress us to say the least. At breakfast, even with a very crowded room they were trying to prevent us to go to a second room, I guess in the hope not to have to clean it. Too bad.
