Excellent hotel for overnight

The hotel was very welcoming. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean, spacious and comfortable bed. In a quiet location near to main route and close to a great selection of restaurants.

Very comfortable overnight stay

My family and I stayed for a night in the way to the coast . The rooms were clean, modern, spacious and very comfortable. The staff at reception were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location - just off the motorway but in a quiet setting with lots of choices of places to eat very close by.

Horrible costumer service

We booked a room and within seconds of booking we realized we had chosen the wrong dates.We immediately contacted them to request a change of date. The staff on the phone was quit rude and unwilling to help. We were told to send an e-mail. The reply was extremely short and management showed no willingness to hep us. We were offered no solution to our problem and the staff couldn't have cared less about us. My last e-mail to the manager even went unanswered, as well as my e-mail to the parent company accor. I will probably think twice before ever booking with them again. I have never experienced such bad customer service before.

Nice Hotel with a great restaurant

This is a nice hotel for a stop over. We were very pleasantly surprised with their excellent restaurant. They have a great chef which provided us with an excellent dinner. Breakfast was also very good. The hotel is very clean and customer service is excellent. The highlight of this hotel was their excellent restaurant.

Disappointed

We booked this Mercure as a stopover on the way back to Calais from the South of France, what a disappointment. I use Accor group Hotels a lot for Business & Leisure and I have always considered the Mercure brand as the top end of the chain. On this occasion we were left very disappointed, no restaurant, very poor room, next to none staff service. This place could not compete with a Travelodge in the UK, simply rubbish.
