Room is fine but location awful

The staff were kind and helpful and the room clean and comfortable. But the location only works if you have a car. Surroundings are grim and getting there from central Antwerp was pure hell. The error was made by my travel agent so I do not fault Novotel. Only upside was nearby Hechi restaurant the only eatery within many kilometers which offers a fixed price buffet that is very good if you are very hungry.

Tired Hotel

Out of the city a fair way. Old and tired and in need of a renovation. Booked for 2 adults and 2 teenagers and room was way too small and one of the teens had to sleep on the floor as fold out bed was a single. Staff were good and parking was free. Restaurant wouldn’t give me a proper knife and fork to take back to my room as I might steal it…..

Terrible beyond limit

Extremely poor service right from coming inside the reception. Never been to hotel where receptionist will look at you because we are black family she decided to give nasty attitude towards my family. No communication or whatsoever regarding the hotel or how operate the electricity in the hotel. What a racist hotel and nasty behaviour from the receptionist.

The rooms are very clean, and the staff is extremely attentive! The Novotel restaurant offers regional dishes (admittedly a bit salty), but they are quite good and come in handy when you don’t feel like leaving the hotel after a long day on the road. This hotel is ideal for families as there are activities for children. Moreover, being away from the city center is an advantage because Antwerp’s city center is restricted to polluting vehicles, with a fine of 150 euros. Additionally, the parking is not free, unlike the hotel’s parking! So, I recommend taking the tram, which is right next to the hotel! 👌🏻
