1) The main problem was that the air-conditioning had no thermostatic control, leaving the choice of very cold or too warm and humid. 2) all the pillows were too thick, making good sleep more difficult and causing a stiff neck the next day. 3) the overall quality of the room and its facilities were more reminiscent of the Ibis Budget brand rather than the regular Ibis hotels I have stayed in in elsewhere. 4) On the upside, the breakfast was good and the 1HKD promotion for it was most welcome. 5) Another upside was the courteous and efficient service provided by all the staff I encountered.

Friendly check in, water, slippers and toothbrush given. I emailed ahead and I was given an early checkin. Room quite small but very clean and very functional. Shower pressure was the best I’ve experienced even when comparing to 5 star hotels. AIRCONDITIONING very efficient. Overall for one person staying it is ideal. Lots of shops and eating places so close and the MTR is right there as you exit hotel. Mattress very comfortable. Overall the hotel exceeded my expectations for the IBIS brand

Ibis North point is well ocated for those using public transport.. The A 11 bus from the airport ends right opposite the hotel at the bus stand. The MTR station is a minute away. The north point ferry station is a few minutes away. The best part is that the tram station is a few minutes away which one can use for just $3 a ride. The issue is that the hotel room os really tiny. Its neat/clean and house keeping is good. North Point area isn't fancy like the central area but is convenient as a 7/11 and a McDonald's is a few minutes away. The rooms on the back of the hotel have a bad view of the apartments while a room in the front side of the hotel has a good view of the road and the Mall.. So getting a room on the front side of the hotel makes a huge difference for a better view. This is a good budget hotel.
