was surprised to have a problem with hotel wifi, I never had a problem here before

I checked in at around 13.00 on Friday, was given room 404, the English language tv channels BBC 1 and BBC 2 didn't work, the technician came and couldn't get them to work and said they didn't work in neighbouring rooms either, this was surprising because they have worked on my previous stays, hopefully they will work next time, I expect these tv channels are still available in Belgium and Brussels. wifi in room 404 was terrible, had problems to even check my emails, connecting to an online meeting was impossible, I started to hear drilling noises from hotel refurbishment so decided to go to my work office and work there until after 18.00. intermittent drilling noises continued on Saturday morning, Sunday morning and Sunday afternoon, reception staff said they were refurbishing a meeting room, wifi continued to be terrible so they moved me to another room 302 where thankfully it worked better, technician and reception staff confirmed there are wifi problems in certain parts of the hotel, I left early on Monday morning, I did not really enjoy my stay and did not wish to stay any longer in the hotel

Our stay and experience at Sofitel Brussels was great for the following reasons: -Great location, as it is not in the busiest part of Brussels but is well connected to everything -loved the bed, amenities and cleanliness -Delicious breakfast -VERY nice staff. Jimmy was very joyful and everyone very attentive to the guests.
