It is a budget hotel so my expectations were low. It was ok for one night. I had a private bathroom but it is very small to move around. The sink also leaked. The bed was comfortable and the heater worked well. The man on reception when I checked in was very friendly and helpful. Sadly there were idiots also staying that night who were running around at 0200 knocking on doors.

This felt like a very budget stay. It was conveniently located beside the main road. But for the price for our family of four, we were a little disappointed with the stay. I'm not sure what the 'renovations' were, as the rooms and reception was very basic. Shared bathrooms with automatically cleaning toilets - the toilet actually shocked (and soaked) my son when it started a cleaning cycle when he was using it. The breakfast was quite good for the kids, and the staff were very friendly. In the end, we felt that for the same money we could have found something less like a very cheap hostel, and plan to do so next time.

We booked the family room which had separate beds for the whole party. Upon check in we were given two double rooms and promised they were twins - they were not. We ended cutting our trip short staying just one night instead of two that we had originally booked. When we checked out the staff was very rude. It says recently renovated but it was like staying in a prison cell.
